The themes of nature, deep time and psyche have run as a unifying thread through my life and remain its inexhaustible, often surprising inspiration. My art tends towards abstraction; collage in particular allows me to highlight texture through fabrics, a range of papers and natural objects. In the series Bark Nudes I use primarily pastels.

Some of my paintings appeared in the journal Sage-ing with Creative Spirit, Grace & Gratitude. I’ve a collection of poems, Sandbar Islands (Caitlin, 1986), and a book of nonfiction, Wearing my Feathered Hat (Wind Oak & Dove, 2013).
