Artist Statement

Dappled walkways, windswept beaches, moving skies and jagged rocks and inlets.  These natural images that I find in nature are what I try to convey in my intuitive landscapes.  I love using bold colour and strong brushstrokes to give the impression of how I feel about my surroundings.

I use all mediums at different times but my favourite is oil.  It gives me the pure colour I seek and holds true to what I put down.  I seek to create joy with my paintings and hope to put a smile on your face.
